My name is Livia Schneider and I am originally from Münsterlingen, Switzerland. I went to High School at the Kantonsschule Romanshorn, where I got my Matura in 2020. I am getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from the Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where I also played college soccer for four years.
Even as a little girl, I enjoyed painting and crafting, and later on in my teenage years, I loved creating videos or collages on my phone. I got my first actual camera when I was about 14 years old and practiced a lot on my friends and in nature. It was not until my Junior year of High School that I considered studying something artistic. So whenever I decided to study and play soccer in the United States, I also wanted to live out my passion off the field and chose to major in Digital Arts.
As a designer, I draw a lot of inspiration from Swiss Design (isn't that ironic?). I love working with grids, clean alignment and hierarchy. Being so far away from home, many of my projects also reflect my actual Swiss origins. Many of my motifs were the beautiful mountains and lakes in my home country.
